Namibia Report

Namibia is small country with a population of 2 million people. We ran the school of Christ in this nation in September 2008 in a town called Walvis Bay. We only had a small number of graduates complete the course but it has been one the best schools I have ever had the privilege of being part of. The leaders of the center where we held the School of Christ teaching said "that a few months ago they had been burdened in prayer that God was going to send teaching to their lives" and when the School of Christ came it was truly an answer to that prayer.
After running this school in Walvis Bay, the doors opened up for us to run the school of Christ with a Pastor from the capital city of Windhoek, God really did a work over the next year of 2009, as people came through the school they were challenged to go and start new churches all across Namibia and they did so. We closed the school down toward the end of 2009 because the finances needed to be directed to new openings in other countries.
Below are some of the testimonies from Students in Namibia who have been through the School of Christ. These pastors and leaders had traveled from many different areas in Namibia where they are laboring to extend Kingdom of God. Here in their own words are some of the dealings with these men and women of God and how the School of Christ has affected them.
Anghuwo Hilma Shiwa
I would like to thank the Lord for giving me an opportunity to learn more about Christ in this school, because all along I used to think that I really knew God, but I came to realize that I was really wrong after these teachings.
I came to a broader knowledge and understanding about true Christianity and being a true servant of the Lord with all that I have learned. I pray to God that he helps me to enlarge my spiritual capacity and for me to go and put all I have learned into practice and start living Christ's life and continue imparting life in God's children and living by example that I am called to live the life of another.
Hamukwaya Hilma
I thank the Lord God for these teachings, they really changed my life. Especially the topic of discipleship. For one to be a real disciple it demands that one must deny himself and give his life to Jesus Christ. The disciple of Jesus Christ took example from their master as He lived with them. So it requires holiness and righteousness.
Gladys Daka
School of Christ has wakened me up from a deep sleep, through the teachings I have learned to be prayerful and not selfish. I am very privileged to be part of these teaching they have brought life to me. I have benefited from this school and my life is not to be the same again. I will grateful if these teachings reach Zimbabwe and other countries because people are hungering and thirsting for the true gospel.
Emmy Tuyeni Hawala
Due to the teaching that we receive from this School of Christ international, it has really enlightened me in the area of fasting and praying, I used to pray just for the sake of praying, or fast when I feel like it. I did not know that without prayer I am powerless. The subject that attracted my attention is repentance because when I evaluated myself and look back where I come from I find out that I need to confess all my sin and forgive all the people that wronged my, and ask forgiveness from those I have wronged. My plan of action when I get back home is to put in practice all the knowledge and skills that I have learned from this teaching and see where it will take me.

The teachings that I have received here has really touched my heart. Through such teachings, I learned how to take up my cross and follow Jesus. What to do to get your village, city revived. How to crucify the flesh and minster life to lost souls. How to defeat the devil and how to fast and pray. I give thanks to Almighty God who gave me this opportunity to have access to these teachings.

First of all I want to thank my God for loving us so much here in Namibia and open for us a door for these teachings. School of Christ you are a blessing to me as well as to those who attended this school in Namibia. I have learned so much in the school, every topic was so important to me and it revived me from my inside to the outside as a child of God and a pastor. I was thinking I am a true Christian, but from day one until the last day I have been repenting because every teaching was reviving me.
The series which touched me so much was revival, I used to attend many revival meetings but every time I go back I used to be the same, but this school brought a big changed to my life, now I know that revival must start first in me by praying and fasting and killing the flesh, denying my self and take up my cross, this has to happened everyday of my life. My life should be a prayer life. I believe everyone who has received this teaching in the world was touched like me wherever he or she is together we are allowing the Church of Christ to be established in our lives, countries, towns and villages.

My experience with the School of Christ is a turn around experience. I have learned a lot through this training. I am a preacher for almost three years, yet there are points at which I have failed. As from now onward I promise to work hard advancing the gospel, denying myself and taking the old man to the cross in order to get new life, and with this new life to revive my community. I thank the Almighty God for this privilege.

It is my pleasure and privilege to get this opportunity to attend such a marvelous course, which has awakened me up from my dead sleeping, it has touched my heart and mind completely. Its something new to me. It has brought change in my life day and night, always when I am listening to this teaching I am just repenting, because a lot was not done in my life. I have discovered a lot of things which the Holy Spirit through the school taught me was sin before God.
I have benefited a lot in this school and I have to keep what I learned and put it into practice to let Jesus Christ dwell in my temple. Amen! I have learned how to obey Gods commands and laws, to know Jesus Christ's purpose why he was sent. I only knew Jesus by name but not in details as the school taught, it has changed my life and I know I got something from it. There is no way to compromise any more.
I would like to demonstrate the topic that touched me it was the lesson called "The House of God" Bro. Clendennen taught that the Lord Jesus is Gods house, God is in Christ. This topic described a lot of issues for me to do before God. It has also encouraged me to keep this house of God always clean and not to contaminate this house with unnecessary stuffs/ things which doesn't please God. Bro. Clendennen told us that our mind and feelings has to come under the cross daily, so that we cannot be serving two masters. Even the Almighty Lord will not allow this house to be contaminated with other messes. The House of God should always be clean so that God can dwell in His temple and can use you and me to be His vessel. If we look into the world nowadays people are being victimized by deception from the devil with the things of this world, which means they are in the devils house serving satan and they don't mind that their bodies are supposed to be the House of God.
I would like to say a big thanks to the facilitators who brought us this spiritual education. The schools wonderful for us and it helped us a lot to know what we didn't know, about God and the Holy Spirit and how He works in our lives. I believe that this teaching is going to help us in the future and also in the generation to come, that they will be revived and be saved for eternal life. Thanks to God for everything in the name of Jesus Christ.
