SOC in Nicaragua

by Delvis Mercado Soza   SOC Field Worker

Everything we do has a purpose in the kingdom of God and we bring glory and honor to the name of our Lord and Savior, that is what I intend to do to describe what God continues to do in Nicaragua.

On November 23rd, we went out about 300 kilometers from the capital to various parts of Nueva Segovia on our border with Honduras. Agricultural production is very representative in our markets there.

Adonis Shepherds Market, Jehu Huete, Omar Barriers, Luisa Garcia and myself were a part in this adventure of faith to serve students who would be cited for a day of humiliation before God and cry out to the Lord while making two graduations at Jalapa and the other in the same area of Sabanagrande. God is good that we had a car we rented, however the car was not suitable for this type of roadway, but praise God, he is glorified in us I keep thanking Him at all times, I know that this is thanks to the prayers of many who love the message of Pentecost.

The testimonies of the pastors and graduates were a blessing and encouragement to others to receive this School of Christ. The words of appreciation to pastor Clendennen church family for hearts sincere, and thank everyone who made possible this great Gospel message. These were the words of Pastor Enoch Herrera president of the denomination Christian Churches.

He says he never imagined that this message of the school, to live the life of the church in a mighty way, his desire is for the month of January to have a new enrollment of 100 students, because he is convinced that this is the message God has for the last time.

White Sister Adriana Sarante said I can not be still with the message, I must witness the wonders God has done in this School of Christ. She said she felt discomfort in one side, and for that reason went to the hospital for a medical check-up. They detected a tumor of considerable size and the doctor told her that this time it may be too late for surgery. Though risky, she came to the School of Christ which devastated her family because many of her relatives had died of Cancer.

She continued by testifying that while hearing the news, the school coordinator said let's ask God to do a miracle. We then began to study the person of Jesus and God's power was raised so that they felt His presence was irresistible, the pain of forgiveness was present, she says that in that moment of glory she felt God touch her.

She told her family and they said it would be good to go to the hospital for a CAT scan and the next day left for the exam. She said the doctors were amazed to see the wonders of God, His name I AM, Alleluia.

Our sister Blanca is completely healthy and in appreciation led us to her humble house where she prepared food and served us with love.

Certainly what the Holy Spirit is doing is what I did in the early church Mar 16:20 And they went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord helping them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

We are only acting in obedience and His great power was confirmed through what we taught. Pastor Clendennen said, the pastor preaches fifty percent, and the manifestation of power is the other fifty percent.

We had a time of fasting and prayer with the pastors and graduates of the area; the event took place at Gethsemane Temple. Some of the greatest pastors in the area began arriving from the early hours with much expectation of what God would do, then we prayed for over an hour on our knees: the word that God brought us was a great impact in our hearts. The prayers and cries for the advancement of the school in all countries where we were present, we can say that this event was fueled by the fire of God.

The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few.
Praise be to our God.

In Christ,
Pastor Delvis Mercado Soza
