Prison Correspondence Course Update

"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." Psalms 107:20
This commanding scripture in the Psalms so completely defines the work of the School of Christ correspondence course in the prisons. The enemy has destroyed the lives of countless men and women locked up in prisons all across this country, but God's Word was sent and not only has delivered souls bound by sin, but healed them of their transgressions. Only God through His eternal Spirit lifting up Jesus Christ could accomplish such a phenomenal work like this. The testimonies we have received from inmates across the country bear witness to this truth.
We are excited to announce that the School of Christ Correspondence Course is now available in the Spanish language thanks to the hard work of our translator in Argentina, Brother Maximiliano Noriega. Also much thanks to Brother Brian Larsen our Director for South America who has overseen this work. We believe with the new Spanish Correspondence Course our enrollment will double in size based on the requests we have had in the past asking for the Course in Spanish. Please keep this work in prayer!
The SOC Correspondence Course is now in over 1,100 facilities in 42 States across the U.S. with more facilities being added weekly. The actual total number of facilities we are currently in is unknown to us because we have had so many Church's take the School of Christ material into their local prison facilities as the curriculum for their Prison Ministry. Chaplains call us requesting the Correspondence Course as their facility curriculum after seeing the effect it has made on prisoners already enrolled. Also many individuals with a personal call to prison ministry have asked us to use the School of Christ material. Needless to say, the true Gospel is making its way into our nation's prison system and violently pushing back the darkness, sometimes in an entire facility.
The effectiveness of the School of Christ Correspondence Course in the prisons cannot be calculated in human terms or numbers. Only in eternity can the value of this great work be accurately reckoned. Every time Pastor Clendennen would pass by my office he would ask, "son, how many facilities are we in now?" When I would tell him, his eyes would always light up as he lifted his hands toward heaven and we would praise God together for His mighty work.
It's more than ministry, it's LIFE. The School of Christ is in the business of bring Life where death has ruled. It brings Light where the darkness has overtaken, and there are few places on earth where death and darkness has permeated more than it has in our nation's prisons. We are bringing a great Hope to the hopeless, His name is Jesus!
